Take the Conservative route and Back Boris

The United Kingdom stands at a pivotal crossroads in its history. To one side is the path of freedom, led by Boris Johnson and the Conservatives. To the other is a dark journey into diminution and decay under Jeremy Corbyn and the Labour party. The choices could not be starker.

With Boris Johnson, you have a charismatic leader known and well liked throughout the world. A man who turned London into one of the most prosperous cities in the world that shone in the 2012 Olympics. A man who speaks multiple languages and who was born in America – a true carrier of the torch for Global Britain. This is the man who led the charge that won the vote for Leave in the 2016 referendum, and who secured a great deal for Britain with the EU after Theresa May’s disastrous withdrawal agreement and will get Brexit done. He has committed to not extending the Withdrawal Agreement past 2020 – causing even Nigel Farage to blush, and stand down his candidates in Conservative seats. With Boris Johnson and the Conservatives’ leadership, Britain has the chance to be a true world leader – championing a new era in global free trade and innovative free markets and free people.

On the other side is Labour led by a man who has sided with every single enemy Britain has – from the IRA and Islamist terror groups, to the Iranian and Russian regimes. This is a man who called for the British military to be disbanded. But it is not only his foreign policy that is a dangerous – Corbyn’s Labour would literally seize people’s gardens, income, and inheritance with back breaking taxes; while bankrupting the nation with a mad £1.2 trillion spending spree. His entire ideology is founded upon hatred. Hatred of Britain, America and Israel and our shared history. Hatred of people who work hard and are successful. Hatred of people who just want to get on in life and care for themselves and their families without the cruel heartless arm of the state slowly suffocating them with dehumanising, poorly-run government bureaucracy.

The Daily Globe is filled with great hope for Britain. We are excited about the prospect of Britain being a global leader once again – arm in arm with not just the USA but in its friends in Canada, Australia and New Zealand (the CANZUK alliance we campaign for) and throughout the burgeoning dynamic Commonwealth that includes such exciting and booming states such as India, Singapore, and Nigeria. These are times to link up with those economies and global Boris is on it. .

But we also feel fear for Britain. Fear of Jeremy Corbyn shackling Britain to Europe by refusing to implement the people’s 2016 vote. Fear of Jeremy Corbyn breaking up the UK with a United Ireland and independent Scotland. Fear of him and his deranged socialist comrades reversing the great liberating policies and initiatives put in place by Margaret Thatcher.

Great Britain must choose hope over fear. Please Great Britain, return a Conservative majority on December 12.
